V I Wines Distributing is a young, innovative, and family-run company dedicated to bringing you the highest quality wines at a phenomenal value. V I Wines works tirelessly to import and distribute great wines from around the world and we'll strive to meet your needs while giving you the best customer service.

Giuseppe and Anne Carraturo met in 1993 while working for Princess Cruise Lines. Giuseppe has always had a passion for wine and after leaving Princess Cruises he decided to move to Bordeaux, France to learn about wine making. Anne tagged along. Although Giuseppe never got to work at a famous Chateau, his love of wines and wine making continued to grow. Giuseppe and Anne returned to the United States and married in 1994. Giuseppe worked as a sales representative for a small, national distributor of fine Italian wines in Portland, OR. He was eventually promoted to Regional manager and was sent to Denver, CO to run the company’s distribution in that state.

Giuseppe earned a reputation as a man that can always hit his numbers.

In 2001, Giuseppe decided to work for the largest distributor of wine and liquor in the country. While working there, Giuseppe honed his skills for sales, brand management and vendor relations. He had the opportunity to work for some of the largest and finest importers in the world. He was responsible for doubling sales for many brands and earned a reputation as a man that can always hit his numbers. By 2005, Giuseppe and Anne decided that they would like to give their family the experience of living in Italy, Giuseppe’s homeland. Giuseppe accepted an invitation to work for Cav. G.B. Bertani vineyards, a prestigious producer of Amarone and Valpolicella. Giuseppe represented the Bertani brand nationally and within a year had increased their sales in North America over 30 percent. In 2007, Giuseppe decided to pursue his dream and open his own distribution company. In April of 2008, V I Wines Distributing was born.  The company started out running and is continuing to grow and thrive. We strive to give the best customer service possible to our customers and provide top brand management and sales to our vendors.
